Looking Through the Canon 15x50 IS Binoculars

!±8± Looking Through the Canon 15x50 IS Binoculars

The Canon 15x50 IS binoculars are a huge step up from regular binoculars and make viewing far away things like the night sky simply incredible. The IS stands for Image Stability which just mean that the binoculars compensate for any hand movement and give you a very clear image.

You may already know this if you have ever used a regular set of binoculars but the higher the magnification of the binocular, the more you will be able to see any hand movement. This is really annoying when viewing something very far away like the night sky. The Image stability dose a great job at practically eliminating any of this hand movement.

The Canon 15x50 IS binoculars have a magnification of 15 times what you would see with just your eyes and a width of 50 millimeters across the lens giving you a very wide view.

Turning the Image Stability feature on is very simple because all you have to do is briefly press down the IS button on the binoculars and it turns on the IS for 5 minutes so you don't have to hold down the button while you are viewing, although you still can if you want to.

They are a bit on the heavy side though weighing in at about 2.6 pounds so you may still want to get a tripod if you are going to be viewing for a long time, although you really don't need one because the Image stabilizing feature works very well to eliminate almost all of your hand movement.

The Canon 15x50 IS binoculars are perfect for anyone who likes to do a lot of stargazing because you can see planets like Jupiter and Saturn very clearly, almost like you are looking at them through a telescope.

These binoculars are also great for bird watching and anything else you may want to look at from a distance. You can even use them in a moving boat and turning the IS feature on makes it look like you are standing still.
